I suck at this! A random post to pass the time

Wow, I really am not so great at this blog thing. Didn't know if I'd make it long but I want to keep trying. This is just a post to say I will post soon. As some may know I was taken to Thailand and Cambodia for Christmas and I would love to fill people in on that trip (which I promised about a month ago). I've got the pictures sorted for the good/less boring/more informative ones so I hope to make a slideshow for each city we were in. I will get that up ASAP.
BUT I start my second semester of graduate school tomorrow. It's gonna be a busy semester with Autism seminar, neuroanatomy, swallowing, and yes the dreaded clinic. I"m so nervous for clinic. As many know, my first clinic did not go well so I'm trying not to jinx myself but we'll see.
And on a side note, go see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. They show rear end once but besides that just an incredible story and incredible cast and incredible acting. I have not been blown away like this from a movie in a long time. They did a great job and I'm rooting for them to take the best movie award. Ya know what, you all probably don't care about this as I do but as I'm meeting celebs and watching movies like crazy and Gregg will be haning out at the Oscar luncheon next week I'm gonna voice my opinion for the Oscars right now. I am procrastinating at getting ready for my first class tomorrow but I don't start til 4 so I can stall a little bit more. Ok here goes:
Actor in a leading role:
Richard Jenkins- in all honesty I don't think he has a chance with that group he's up against but go see The Visitor. Jenny Fugler had mentioned it in her blog and I love Richard Jenkins so I checked it out and it's an incredible movie. Brad Pitt would be my second choice cause he does great in Benjamin Botton but I feel that Mickey will take it alhtough I have no interest in seeing The Wrestler
Actor in a supporting role:
Michael Shannon- also I don't think has no chance but everyone I have talked to agrees that Michael deserves this award. A nobody for so many years, he finally got his role. I do think Heath will get it because of the circumstances but I can be happy there cause he did do an incredible job in Dark Knight.
Actress in a leading role:
Kate Winslet- I don't agree with The Reader, but since she was not nominated for Reservation Road I hope she will take this because her acting deserves an Oscar for sure no matter what she wins for.
Actress in a supporting role:
Taraji P. Henson- not only is she so sweet and humble(met her at Palm Springs International Film Festival) she did an Incredible job in Benjamin Button. Go see it to see what I'm talking about. Amazing!
Animated Feature Film:
Wall-E
Art Direction:
benjamin button
Cinamatography:
Slumdog Millionaire
Costume Design:
Australia
Directing:
Curious case of benjamin button
Film Editing:
Benjamin Button- it moves so smoothly and includes everything in the perfect amount
Makeup:
Curious Case of Benjamin Button- go see to watch Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett change ages so drastically and not being able to tell that it's makeup
Music Score:
Slumdog
Music song:
Wall-E
Best Picture:
Benjamin Button- as stated earlier. If they don't take it then slumdog millionaire
Sound editing:
The Dark Knight
Sound Mixing:
the dark knight
Visual Effects:
Any one of these would deserve it
Writing adapted:
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (I may be biased)
Writing original:
In Bruges- a very interesting to say the least

Alright, enough of that. go check out the nominess on Oscar's website
