CHRISTMAS TIME

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper. I'm with Steph, I worked at Hallmark for a few years so I LOVE to wrap although I'm not as fancy as she is
2. Real or artificial tree? Fake. It's cheaper and so much easier and cleaner. I still go look for a tree but jsut don't buy it 3. When do you put up the tree? Usually the 2nd or 3rd week of November
4. When do you take the tree down? end of January or as soon as Gregg can't stand it anymore
5. Do you like eggnog? I'm not sure if I've tried it but doubt I would like it
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Good grief. I have no idea. It wasn't when I was a child but my sister got me a, I guess you'd call this a snow machine and I love it. The snow gets blown around in there and the carebears circle around and it plays Christmas carols. This tree was also my sister's idea and it was technically a wedding gift but that was at Christmas so i think it counts. Both have fiber optics which I love! 7. Do you have a nativity scene? I'm so the same as Steph again. I've been telling Gregg to buy just a piece at a time of the Willow Tree collection but he just can't take a hint. I collect the other Willow Tree for couples so I think it's only right to have these too!
8. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I can't think of any
9. Mail or email Christmas cards? Both! I've been trying to be better with mailing them but I usually fall back on the email
10. Favorite Christmas Movie? Elf ! and Miracle on 34th Street- the old black and white version!
11. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Sheesh, another one I'm similar to Steph. I buy bits and peaces throughout the year especially becasue since I worked at Hallmark I HAVE to buy my ornaments in July when they have the ornament premiere. Then the remainder I buy usually on Black Friday
12. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Hot apple cider
13. Clear lights or colored on the tree? PURPLE!!
14. Favorite Christmas song?CAROL OF THE BELLS!!!! and Oh Holy Night and White Christmas and Mary Did you Know
15. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Well kindof both. I'm traveling but going home to SLO
16. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer? on dasher and dancer on prancer and vixen, on comet and cupid on donner and blitsen and then of course Rudolph. is that right?
17. Angel on the tree top or a star? I have a silver star right now but i REALLLLY want a fiber optics angel for the top of the tree to match my fiber optic carebears and tree
18. Open the presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning? depends. Gregg's gift to me comes months before ( :) ) when celebrating with the family it's usually the day after Christmas (don't ask) and Gregg's family it's usually Christmas afternoon. They just love making us wait.
19. Most annoying thing about this time of year? The selfishness of people
20. Do you decorate your tree in any specific theme or color? PURPLE of course with a little clear, white and silver. I guess you could say the theme is wedding because the ornaments were used for our wedding or given to us that year :) 21. What do you leave for Santa? Santa is not real (although I did just buy a shirt that says "i beleive" and it's a pic of Santa but that's more a line from Miracle on 34th street) I don't plan on tricking my kids into beleiving. How devistating to find out he's not real!
22. Least favorite holiday song? Ouch Steph. you just names like all my favorite songs lol. There aren't any (that I can think of ) that I don't like
23. Favorite ornament? Too many to choose from. I love them all!

24. Best thing to happen to you at Christmas? My wedding!! Two days before Christmas in 2004
25. Furthest you've traveled at Christmas? New York for my honeymoon but this year we will beat that- Thailand!
